WHERE WE ARE LOCATED

Take the General Cavazos Blvd. exit off of Hwy 77 in Kingsville, TX.

Go West (past Wal-Mart and Lowes) about 1 mile.

When you cross the RR tracks take an immediate left through our gate. We will be wherever our vehicle is: at the barns or all the way at the end of the drive in our underground Dome home by the creek.

Since our business is really and out-of-control hobby, it is best to call before you come. We can be here almost any time if we know your coming.

Nave’s Sawmill is a husband and wife team with two mills. We have a circular mill and a band mill. What started out as a simple hobby has gotten way out of control.

When you come to our place be prepared to hear some “Woodlot Philosophy”. You see, we really love our wood and sometimes the dust gets to our heads. So you might hear us comparing the cracks in the wood to the “defects” in human character , or comparing the worm holes to sin in our lives. Our theory is that trying to hide either one never works so why try? People and wood are both more interesting when you can see the real thing. If you want clear, perfect boards, pick something other than mesquite. If you want perfect people, wait till you get to heaven.

Our main business is custom sawing mesquite and selling lumber. However, there is usually a good selection of cutting boards, crosses, bootjacks, candle holders, etc...ready to go.

We like to saw logs on Saturdays and have declared it “Old Geezer Day”. Come hang out with us, roll a log around, talk philosophy (and of course wood) and shovel a little sawdust.
